ISLAMABAD: The Establishment Division, through a circular on Thursday, issued a provisional seniority list of BS-21 officers prior to a meeting of the high-powered selection board, to be held later this month.

The list, which contained 99 names, has been prepared on April 18, 2024 as per relevant rules. The circular says that objections, if any, duly supported with documentary evidence, might be sent within 15 days from the date of issuance of the circular. The objections received thereafter, will not be entertained and the list would be finalised.

Top on seniority list is a PAS officer Amna Imran Khan, followed by Irum Bokhari, Tahir Khurshid, Wasim Ajmal Chaudhry, Dr Naveed Ahmad Chaudhry, and so on.

Seniority of Naveed Chaudhry has been fixed in accordance with Rule 3(c) of Civil Servants (Seniority) Rule, 1993. However, his seniority positions will be subject to final outcome of litigation.

Secretary to Prime Minister Asad Rehman Gilani is at number 28 and Secretary Petroleum Momin Agha is at 17th place on the provisional seniority list.

Meanwhile, the Establishment Division has made changes in nominations for the Mid-Career Management Course (MCMC) for the sixth time, four days after start of course.

Prominent among 13 officers of BPS-18 whose nominations were cancelled include Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Hasan Waqar Cheema, DPO Gujrat Syed Asad Muzaffar, Chief Traffic Officer Sarfraz Virk, DPO Mandi Bahauddin Raza Safdar Kazmi and Deputy Commissioner Kalat Hafiz Muhammad Qasim. The MCMC started on April 29, and it will continue till July 5.
