MQM-P opens public secretariat to hear people’s issues
The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) has released a schedule for its lawmakers to meet the public and listen to their issues at the Pakistan House.
The Pakistan House, located near the Laal Kothi bus stop on Sharea Faisal, served as the headquarters of the Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP). After the merger of the PSP and the MQM-P, it became the election office for the party. The same facility has now been declared as the MQM-P’s public secretariat.
According to a circular issued by the MQM-P, the party’s members of provincial and national assemblies will be available at the Pakistan House six days a week, except Sunday, from 5pm to 8pm, during which they will meet the public and listen to their complaints in a bid to solve them.
On Mondays, MNAs Khawaja Izhar ul Hasan, Aasia Ishaque, Sadiq Iftikhar and Sofia Saeed, and MPAs Shaukat Ali, Arsalan Pervez, Syed Farhan Ansari, Fahim Patni and Mussarat Jabeen would be available.
On Tuesdays, MNAs Hassan Sabir, Amir Moin Pirzada and Muhammad Iqbal Khan, and MPAs Shariq Jamal, Jamal Ahmed, Syed Ijaz ul Haq, Bilquis Mukhtar and Naseer Ahmed would be available. On Wednesdays, MNAs Farhan Chishti and Javed Hanif, and MPAs Mazahir Ameer, Sikandar Khatoon, Kiran Masood, Rehan Akram, Maaz Mehboob and Syed Adil Askari would be available.
On Thursdays, MNAs Dr Nikhat Shakeel, Syed Aminul Haque and Rana Ansar, and MPAs Sheikh Abdullah, Moeed Anwar, Taha Ahmed, Farah Sohail, Muhammad Dilawar and Fauzia Hameed would be available.
On Fridays, MNAs Dr Arshad Vohra and Sabeen Ghori, and MPAs Abdul Waseem, Iftikhar Alam, Quratulain, Faisal Rafiq, Ali Khursheedi and Anil Kumar would be available.
On Saturdays, MNAs Ahmed Salim Siddiqui and Syed Hafeezuddin, and MPAs Amir Siddiqui, Engineer Usman, Najam Mirza, Muhammad Daniyal, Abdul Basit and Mahesh Kumar would be available.
