IGP praises police force for tight security for Iranian president’s visit

Sindh police chief Ghulam Nabi Memon congratulated the provincial police force for taking excellent and foolproof security measures on the arrival of the Iranian president in Karachi.

In view of the foolproof security plan on the arrival of the most important official guests, the situation arising due to the closure of highways and roads was well understood, the IGP said and added that the people’s cooperation in this regard was commendable.

He appreciated the performance of the officers and men of the Sindh police for carrying out the important security and traffic duties assigned on the occasion of the arrival of the Iranian president.

He also appreciated the security strategy adopted by all other units of the Sindh police, especially the Special Branch, CTD and CIA, in this regard. He further said that the Sindh police is well aware of the necessary measures of foolproof security on the arrival of the most important official guest.
