The SSGC disconnected gas supplies to the Pakistan Steel Mills’ (PSM) housing colony on Monday due to their default on making payments, said a press release. The PSM’s senior management showed their inability to clear the outstanding dues and did not respond in writing to the multiple recent notices served on them for disconnections, the SSGC said.
The total outstanding amount is Rs110,077,505/- while the current bill is of Rs45,162,385, for which the due date was April 22, 2024. The PSM’s industrial connection is still intact despite their consistent default on payments.
