ISLAMABAD: Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Raza Amiri Moghaddam visited the Foreign Office today and met with the top officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to consult on related issues.
The Iranian ambassador met senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to review the security related issues regarding the visit of the President of Iran Dr Ibrahim Raisi to Pakistan.
Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said Thursday the Iranian president, whose visit was scheduled in advance, is due to arrive in Pakistan coming on a two-day visit.
It is also worth mentioning here that in the context of the latest situation in the Middle East and the military confrontation between Israel and Iran, the visit of the Iranian president to Pakistan is of extraordinary importance and the international community will focus on his visit.
The advance security team of the Iranian President is already present in Pakistan to thoroughly review the security related issues and ensure foolproof arrangements in this regard before the visit.
