Stadium to have ample water during Pak-WI women’s cricket series: KWSC

The Karachi Water Sewerage Corporation (KWSC) on Thursday announced the completion of all arrangements at the National Bank Stadium in preparation for the ongoing Pakistan West Indies women’s cricket series.

According to a press statement released by KWSC officials, all necessary arrangements for water supply and sewerage at the stadium had been finalised. Engineer Asadullah Khan, Chief Operating Officer of the KWSC, reassured the public that all previous complaints regarding water supply and sewerage in the stadium and its vicinity had been addressed.

Additionally, Khan mentioned that free water tankers would be available at the stadium throughout the duration of the series. Elahi Bakhsh Bhutto, the Incharge of the Hydrants Cell, would oversee all arrangements, while Shahbaz Bashir, the Focal Person to the Chief Operating Officer of the Hydrants Cell, would personally ensure the thorough review of all preparations.

During the series, water tankers, jetting, and suction machines would be stationed within the stadium premises, with the KWSC staff present to address any complaints or emergencies. Highlighting the significance of hosting the Pakistan West Indies women’s cricket series in Karachi, Khan expressed the KWSC’s commitment to ensuring the success of the event, in collaboration with other departments including the Pakistan Cricket Board, sending a positive message for international cricket.
