PTI leader for upholding principles to make Pakistan a welfare state
LALAMUSA: Chaudhry Shahid Raza, leader and MPA of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), said that Pakistan must avoid being used as a testing ground for experiments. “I think a genuine democracy is required to fulfill the nation’s aspirations for national development and prosperity. “A system that serves only a few privileged families will worsen the situation. To transform Pakistan into a democratic, Islamic, and welfare state, we must uphold democratic principles.”
Talking to the media, Raza said a comprehensive overhaul of the economic framework demands joint efforts beyond the shortcomings of the current administration. “Now is the time to confront our challenges with unity, consensus, and political resolve, but this necessitates the completion of the democratic process. Hence, the stolen mandate of PPTI must be returned. Despite adversity, our party has demonstrated its widespread support through electoral triumphs.”
