Neglected province
Despite being the largest province in Pakistan with abundant natural resources and picturesque tourist attractions, Balochistan has been neglected in terms of development. Its strengths remain underutilized and starved of investment. In some ways, the people of the province are even deprived of the very things it has in abundance.
Take Sui gas for example, which is drawn from Balochistan and caters to a large chunk of the country’s energy needs. And yet, many people in Balochistan still need to rely on wood and other substandard fuels. Other issues like poor infrastructure, water insecurity, and lack of electricity also remain unaddressed. I would like to request the government to discontinue this pattern of neglect and fix these problems.
