KARACHI: As many as 6 out of 10 Pakistanis fail to have sound sleep during the month of Ramazan.
It was disclosed in Gallup Pakistan Survey conducted from March 18-25, 2024. A total of 2,000 respondents participated in the survey across the country.
Around 61 percent respondents considered slumber a challenge during the month of Ramazan. They said there is not enough time to sleep between Iftar and Sehri, adding they have to get up early in the morning that render them to get less than normal sleep.
In contrast, 37 percent respondents said they sleep peacefully during Ramazan and cited no problem in this regard. However, some 2 percent respondents avoided answering the query.
Interestingly, those who expressed concern of unsatisfactory sleep during Ramazan, most of them are women with 64 percent as compared to 58 percent of men.
