The Anti-Vehicle Lifting Cell (AVLC) on Tuesday arrested a suspect and recovered a stolen Toyota Revo shortly after it was stolen from the Gizri area.
According to a Karachi police spokesperson, the vehicle was stolen within the jurisdiction of the Gizri police station. The AVLC, led by SSP Rao Arif Aslam, swiftly mobilised their team. With the collaboration of the South Zone Police, District South, and AVLC, the vehicle was recovered within a few hours of the theft.
Subsequently, the AVLC police apprehended a notorious criminal named Faisal Subhani in the jurisdiction of the Madina Colony police station. An exchange of fire occurred when Faisal fired at the police during a routine AVLC checkpoint.
