Efforts on to provide relief to consumers: official

ABBOTTABAD: Actions are being carrying out uninterruptedly against traders and shopkeepers involved in overcharging and not following the govt notified price lists, an official said on Tuesday
Assistant Director Consumer Rights Protection, Abbottabad, Ibrahim Khan told reporters that they had launched campaign against overcharging in Ramazan on the direction of director general of industries and commerce, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,
He said that they have been trying hard to provide relief to consumers by regularly checking the markets of edibles and other items. “We have recovered expired items from various establishments and taken legal action,” he said.
