KARACHI: The Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has instructed oil marketing companies (OMCs) to ensure uninterrupted supplies of petroleum products during the Eid days.
In a letter to the OMCs, OGRA directed the operation of all depots and installations during the Eid holidays, except on the first and second days of Eid. It also instructed the OMCs to maximize their product movement from the South to the North and to ensure smooth and uninterrupted supplies at retail outlets, especially those situated near motorways, highways, and areas with high sales. Furthermore, the oil companies were instructed to avoid prolonged and unattended parking of oil tankers at private parking lots and to restrict stock hoarding on wheels.
