KARACHI: Indus Motor Company (IMC) has been awarded the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Award by The National Forum for Health and Environment (NFEH) for its contributions to the United Nations' Global Goals, a statement said on Monday.
The award was presented at the 16th Annual Summit and Awards ceremony, where IMC was recognized among 86 companies across 36 award categories. Asad Abdullah, head of Corporate Communications and CSR at IMC, received the accolade from the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Pakistan and the Speaker of the Azad Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly.
IMC's CEO, Mr. Ali Asghar Jamali, expressed the company's pride in their CSR initiatives, which aim to create a positive impact within the communities where they operate. IMC's CSR programs, including educational partnerships and collaborations with various organizations, reflect the company's commitment to societal welfare and community empowerment.
