PTI candidate granted transit bail

PESHAWAR: District and Sessions Judge Ashfaq Taj has granted transit bail to Khurram Zeeshan, a candidate of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for the Senate elections from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the court’s decision, Khurram Zeeshan has been granted bail until the 26th of this month, and he is to appear before the relevant court in Kohat by the said date. In this regard, he must also provide evidence related to his appearance in the court by April 3.
According to Zeeshan’s lawyer, his client is facing a case filed at the Anti-Corruption Police Station in Kohat, despite not holding any government position. He said Zeeshan wanted to appear in court but feared arrest. Zeeshan is considered a close associate of PTI leader Imran Khan.
