Utility stores

A majority of people living in Shahzad Town in Islamabad are from low-income backgrounds and can avail themselves of the relief packages announced by the government. However, unfortunately, they do not have access to government-backed discount stores. While the setting up of fair-priced shops in such towns either by the CDA or by the local administration of Islamabad in the holy month of Ramazan is common, the people of Shahzad Town are without any such facility.

The chief commissioner of Islamabad is therefore requested to set up such shops in Shahzad Town at the earliest.
