PTU VP Ramzan Inqalabi said that the issue of privatisation of government schools had become a matter of life and death for teachers. He said that alleged poor performance of the government schools was not because of teachers. He disclosed that annual summer vacation had been announced but textbooks had not been provided in the government schools till now, which was the prime responsibility of administrative officers of the Education Department. Currently, he added, the government schools were charging only Rs 20 per month with no tuition fee in the province.
