Dacoits’ gangs busted, 32 motorcycles recovered

CHAKWAL: City and Sadar police Monday claimed busting inter-provincial dacoits’ gangs and recovering looted amount, articles, illicit arms and 32 motorcycles from them.
After holding an open court, Chakwal DPO Munir Masood Marth told reporters at the district council hall that City and Sadar police busted inter-provincial dacoits’ gangs.
He said recovered motorcycles and looted amount were returned to their genuine owners.
He said cash prizes and certificates were given to relevant police officials, including DSP Sadar Kazim Raza Naqvi, SHO city police station Syed Naseer Shah, SHO Sadar police station Zarat Baloch, SHO Kallar Kahar police station Azhar Shah and chief security officer Ijaz Shah and other cops.
Founder of Chakwal Chamber of Commerce Qazi Muhammad Akbar, President Chakwal Chamber of Commerce Khawaja Arif Yusuf, Chairman Chakwal Press Club Khawaja Babar Saleem, Sarafa Bazaar president Seth Nisar Ahmed and other representative of traders were also present.
DPO listened complaints of the people and assured them justice. Addressing the open court, the DPO lauded bravery of cops in busting the gangs.
