MINGORA: The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Water and Sanitation Services Company, Swat, here on Friday suspended the General Manager HR, Admin, and Procurement for discrepancies found in the Annual Increment in pursuance to recommendations of the fact binding/inquiry report.
According to the office order No. CEO/WSSC-Swat/ Inquiry 02.2024 issued from the office of CEO, WSSC, the GM HR, Admin, and Procurement was found guilty of discrepancies found in the approval of the Annual Increment and was therefore suspended till further order.
According to the order, he was further directed to appear before the Severance Committee on the date and time as intimated four further courses of action. According to the fact-finding/inquiry report received by this scribe stated that upon the surfacing of discrepancies in the Annual Increment (Based on Appraisals) WEF July 15 2023”, where certain employees of the company were benefited with the increments, Promotions, without bringing in the notice of the Deputy Commissioner Swat/Chief Executive Officer WSSC Swat.
The CEO, vide office order No;4750-55 dated March 20, 2023, constituted a fact-finding/inquiry committee for probing into matter assiduously for concealment of facts, procedural lapses, discrepancies, acts of omission, and commission along with identification of the officials involved.
The report stated that after careful consideration of the statements of all parties involved, the inquiry committee has concluded that the promotion of some officers in WSSC was beyond the law and policy of the WSSC.
