ISLAMABAD: The federal government in a reshuffle in bureaucracy has appointed Aizaz Aslam Dar, who was an OSD in the Establishment Division, as Federal Secretary Climate Change Division.
Special Secretary Establishment Division Ali Tahir has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary Science and Technology, while Federal Secretary Science and Technology Ali Raza Bhutta has been directed to report to the Establishment Division. With the approval of the prime minister, the Establishment Division has issued notifications regarding postings and transfers of senior bureaucrats.
Meanwhile, Deputy Secretary Prime Minister’s Office Raheel Mohsin has been repatriated to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Junain Suleman has been appointed as Deputy Secretary Prime Minister’s Office.
The federal government has also allowed an extension in deputation period of a BPS-20 officer of Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service, Tariq Ali Shah Jilani, who is posted in the Sindh government for two years.
