JI CEC reconstituted

Jamaat-e-Islami ameer Senator Siraj-ul-Haq has reconstituted JI’s Central Executive Committee in line with the requirements of JI constitution after the election of new JI Shoora. 

The central executive committee was reconstituted at the opening session of the newly-elected JI Central Shoora (consultative body). The Central Executive Committee has the representation of JI office-bearers from all the provinces. The representatives from Punjab in the central executive committee are: Dr Syed Waseem Akhtar, Sheikh Usman Farooq, Zikrullah Mujahid, Hafiz Salman Butt, Javed Iqbal Cheema and Sardar Zafar Husain Khan. The members from Sindh are Mumtaz Husain Sibtu, Hafiz Naeemur Rahman and Syed Shahid Hashmi. The members from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are Prof. Muhammad Ibrahim Khan, Sahibzada Haroonur Rashid, Dr Muhammad Iqbal Khalil, Sahibzada Tariqullah, Dr Ataur Rahman and Sabir Husain Awan. Bashir Ahmed Mandaee is the member from Balochistan.

The central executive committee will be headed by JI ameer Senator Siraj-ul-Haq. All JI deputy chiefs, JI secretary general and JI provincial chiefs would be ex-officio members of the central executive committee.
