CCPO orders resolving women’s issues
LAHORE: Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Bilal Siddique Kamyana Monday ordered prioritising resolution of women issues.
Presiding over a meeting at his office regarding the prevention of crimes relating to women, the CCPO asked cops to expedite the processing of pending cases related to women and resolve the issues of women who visit police stations as a priority. He said violence against woman would not be tolerated. The CCPO asked relevant cops to ensure justice to women after the registration of cases promptly. He asked supervisory officers to assess the performance of investigating officers daily. The CCPO stressed systematically organising data of suspects involved in crimes against women and children.
