Islamabad: The management of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has suspended 18 officials who remained posted in Rehabilitation and Estate Management directorate authority, on charges of corruption, misconduct and inefficiency.
The CDA sources said that officials have been suspended on charges of their role in allotment of 62 residential plots each size of seven marla in sector I-15 against acquisition of 620 kanals of land.
The allottees had already been compensated through alternate land in the Punjab province. “The services of these CDA employees are placed under suspension with immediate effect and further orders on account of inefficiency, misconduct and corruption,” the office issued with signatures of Deputy Director (Confidential) said.
The office order has been issued with approval of the CDA chairman. The suspended officials include Muhammad Ramzan (Accounts Officer), Mubasshir Hussain Shah (Senior Assistant), Mirza Saeed Akhtar (Naib Tehsildar/Assistant Director Land), Muhammad Shakeel, Muhammad Younas (Sub Assistants), Muhammad Aqeel Khan,Wajahat Hussain, Noman Khan Muhammad Junaid, Saeed Akhtar, Muhammad Ibrar, Muhammad Yaseen Khan, Amir Eaza (Junior Assistants), Abid Hussain, Rashid Mehmood Muhammad Asif, Mudassir (Patwaris) and Iqbal Hussain (Record Keeper)
