13-member Sindh cabinet sworn in

The CM visited the Mazar-e-Quaid, laid a wreath, offered fateha and recorded impressions in the visitors book after the oath-taking ceremony

KARACHI: The 13-member cabinet of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah took oath on Tuesday. Governor Sindh Mohammad Kamran Tessori administered the oath to the newly appointed cabinet members at the Governor House.

Those who took the oath as minister included Sharjeel Inam Memon as Senior Minister for Transport and Mass Transit Department and Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Department, Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho as Minister for Health Department and Population Welfare Department, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah as Minister for Energy Department and Planning & Development Department, Syed Sardar Ali Shah as Minister for Schools Education & Literacy Department, College Education Department and Mines & Minerals Development Department; Saeed Ghani as Minister for Local Government & Housing Town Planning Department and Public Health Engineering and Rural Development Department, Jam Khan Shoro as Minister for Irrigation Department and Food Department (Additional), Ziaul Hasan as Minister for Home Department and Law, Parliamentary Affairs & Criminal Prosecution Department, Sardar Muhammad Bux Khan Mahar as Minister for Agriculture, Supply & Prices Department, Sports & Youth Affairs Department and Enquiries and Anti-Corruption Establishment, Ali Hassan Zardari as Minister for Prisons and Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah as Minister for Culture, Tourism, Antiquities & Archives Department. Out of the 10 newly appointed provincial ministers, nine took the oath of office while Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah didn’t take oath as he was in Islamabad. He will likely take oath on Wednesday (today).

Those who the oath as advisers to the Sindh CM included Allah Dino Khan Bhayo as Adviser to CM for Forest & Wildlife Department, Ehsan ur Rehman Mazari as Adviser to CM for Inter-Provincial Coordination Department and Cooperative Department, Syed Najmi Alam as Adviser to CM for Human Settlement, Social Housing Development and Livestock & Fisheries Department.
