‘Civic services at home need of hour’
LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Local Government and Community Development (LG & CD) Zeeshan Rafique, while urging more efficient online civic services, has said that provision of birth, death certificate and marriage registration facilities at home is the need of the hour. During his visit to the Local Government Board Office Sanda Road, the minister said that CM Maryam Nawaz wanted provision of equal LG facilities in villages and cities.
Concern over doctors’ removal
LAHORE: The YDA has condemned dismissal of more than 400 doctors, who were allegedly inducted illegally. While holding a press conference at Services Hospital Lahore Tuesday, the YDA leaders Dr Shoaib Niazi, Dr Adeel Qureshi, Dr Imran Bhatti and others alleged that MS had failed to manage the affairs of the hospital. ‘If the government took action against doctors, YDA will close down outdoor services in all hospitals in the province,’ they warned.
