KARACHI: United Arab Emirates (UAE) Consul General Bakhit Atiq al-Rumiti participated in an art competition held at a school for orphans in Karachi under Rahmat Welfare Organization.
The Consul General was the Chief Guest of the function. Bakhit Atiq al-Rumiti generously praised the works of art created by the orphans.
The children also presented tableaus. The chief guest of the event, Bakhit Atiq, mingled with the children to encourage them.
The Consul General said that these children will play an important role in the development of Pakistan. The Consul General said that the UAE is playing its role in the education system in Pakistan, and soon the efforts of the UAE will be visible in the education system.
Bakhit Atiq Rumiti said that education is the only resource that plays an important role in the development of nations. The Consul General participated in the programme with his sons and at the end distributed certificates among the students. The organisers of Rahmat Welfare Organization also thanked the Consul General for his visit.
