ISLAMABAD: The federal government has revoked the transfer orders of a joint secretary from the National Security Division, who was instructed to report to the Establishment Division on February 7.
The Establishment Division issued a notification regarding the withdrawal of transfer orders for Mir Afzal Khan, a BPS-20 officer of the Secretariat Group.
Meanwhile, Ghulam Yaseen, a BS-19 officer of the Secretariat Group currently serving as Deputy Secretary at the Ministry of Communications, has been transferred. His services are now placed at the disposal of the Eynon Processing Zone Authority (EZPA) in Karachi on deputation for three years, and subject to standard terms and conditions.
Additionally, the Establishment Division has posted on its website an obituary of the late Waqar Hussain Abbasi, a BS-20 officer of the Secretariat Group serving as joint secretary in the revenue division, who died on February 26. The division praised the deceased officer for his services in the obituary.
