Women’s Day seminar today

The Pakistan Women’s Foundation for Peace has said it is holding its annual International Women’s Day seminar this year on Saturday (March 9).
The subject of the seminar is “Accelerating Gender Parity In Pakistan’s Feudo-Patriarchal Socio-Political Order”. The participating panelists are Ms. Munazza Siddiqui (journalist), Mr. Asad Sayeed (economist, researcher and consultant on social and economic policy), Ms. Nuzhat Shirin (chairperson of the Sindh Commission on the Status of Women), Ms. Tara Uzra Dawood (CEO and Founder of 786 Investments Ltd), Ms. Mahnaz Rahman (activist, resident director of Aurat Foundation) and Ms. Zehra Khan (general secretary, Home-Based Women Worker’s Federation).
