RAWALPINDI: Quetta Gladiators’ spinner Usman Tariq was reported for a suspect bowling action during the PSL 9 fixture against Karachi Kings on March 6 here at the Pindi Stadium.
The team management of Quetta Gladiators has requested the PCB to allow Usman to undergo the bowling action test which will take place at a PCB-approved facility in due course.
Though Usman can continue bowling in the PSL, Quetta may not risk his inclusion as any second call will automatically suspend him till the time he gets clearance from an ICC-approved laboratory. In all probabilities, Quetta will not take chance and he may not be seen bowling again this season.
