The Women’s World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) open category took center stage, featuring eleven skilled golfers showcasing their prowess on the challenging greens. Bushra Fatima claimed the top position with a stellar score of 78, adorned with three birdies. Bushra’s consistent excellence over the past six months has positioned her as a formidable contender for the championship.
Hot on Bushra’s heels is Humna Amjad, making a noteworthy return to the course with a score of 79. Parkha Ijaz secured the third spot on the leaderboard with a steady performance resulting in a score of 80. Dr. Aania Farooq claimed the fourth position with a commendable score of 85.
Organized by an all-women team under the visionary leadership of Dr. Asma Shami, the event pays homage to the legacy of Ghazala Ansari and enjoys generous sponsorship from Mrs. Bela Azam. Ms. Munazza Shaheen officiates as the championship’s referee.
