BAHAWALPUR: Lahore High Court Bahawalpur Bench Bar Association president Nawazish Ali Pirzada Friday urged the chief justices of the LHC and the Supreme Court to constitute a judicial commission to probe the Layyah mishap.
Addressing a press conference, Pirzada said responsibility of the mishap should be fixed. He accused the rulers of totally ignoring the south Punjab masses in terms of basic rights. He said wheat growers of the Punjab, particularly of south Punjab, were allegedly being plundered by the Food Department. Pirzada alleged there was no medicine in Bahawal Victoria Hospital (BVH) and he has moved the LHC (Bahawalpur bench) in this regard.
