Poor to get Ramazan packages on their doorsteps
LAHORE : PMLN leader Azma Bukhari has said that Maryam Nawaz was trying to bring real change in Punjab.
Talking to the media in Lahore, Azma Bukhari has said that Ramazan relief packages will be delivered to the deserving people on their doorsteps and the poor will no longer have to stand in queues. She said Ramazan model bazaars will also be set up in every district, Ramazan packages will be delivered to the deserving people on their doorsteps, work was being done in Punjab and a new system was being introduced. She added clean Punjab programme was launched on the directions of Maryam Nawaz. Azma Bukhari said that it has been a week since Maryam Nawaz assumed the post of chief minister, she was taking important steps in other fields including education, health, and has given a deadline of one month for cleaning in all cities. She said that all the accused involved in the incident of throwing acid on a woman in Sargodha have been arrested, adding ‘we have a zero tolerance policy on crimes against children and women.’
