LAHORE : The police force, from constables to the IG Punjab, contributed three percent of their salary to the welfare fund.
In a video message, IG Punjab stated that the Punjab police had spent more than 200 crore rupees in a year on the welfare of the force.
Furthermore, he announced that the welfare funds had been increased from Rs200 billion to Rs500 billion.
He also mentioned that the police welfare fund had been increased from Rs7.5 billion to Rs12.6 billion.
All pending medical and scholarship cases were cleared, and a record amount of Rs85 crore was allocated as scholarships to the children of police employees.
