Forcing shopkeepers to close shops

FAISALABAD: City and Rail Bazaar police have registered two cases against Sunni Ittehad Council chief Hamid Raza and 45 other activists on the charges of forcing the shopkeepers to shutdown shops and damaging properties. City police have registered a case under 16-MPO and Sections 440, 341, 506, 161 and 148/149 of the PPC. The SIC activists led by Hamid Raza allegedly forced the shopkeepers to shutdown the shops and also grappled with some of them, who were not ready to close their business. Meanwhile, Rail Bazaar police have also registered a case under similar sections against Hamid Raza and others.
