ISLAMABAD: The federal government has lifted the restriction on foreign visits of all the federal government officials and officers of attached departments and autonomous bodies with immediate effect.
The Cabinet Division has issued a notification according to which a previous notification issued on January 29, 2024, has been withdrawn.
Earlier, the government withdrew all the permissions for foreign visits and put restrictions on visits abroad till the conduct of February 8 general elections and the formation of new government.
The same restriction also applied to all the federal ministers and special assistants to the prime minister.
The notification states that all the cases regarding foreign visits would now be processed according to the Cabinet Division’s instructions on October 26, 2018.
