DIG Operations, CTO offices to have modern facilities: IG

LAHORE: IG Punjab Dr Usman Anwar visited the offices of DIG Operations and CTO Lahore here on Thursday.

He inspected various departments such as the ops room, Khidmat Markaz and traffic licencing branch and directed to upgrade the offices according to modern requirements. He said that the DIG Operations and CTO office will be equipped with modern facilities and resources and made into state of the art offices.

Meanwhile, Additional IG Investigation Punjab presided over a video link meeting at the Central Police Office. SSPs/ SPs investigation and DSPs legal of all districts participated in the meeting. Additional IG stressed that challans (reports u/section 173 Cr PC) should be submitted on time.

Special Branch building inaugurated

Additional IG Special Branch Punjab Zulfiqar Hameed inaugurated the new building of District Headquarters of Special Branch in Hafizabad on Thursday.

He said that the old building of the district office was in a bad condition. The construction of the new building of the District Office Special Branch has cost Rs23.123 million. He said that the new building is equipped with modern working facilities and land has been allocated for new computers, furniture, mess hall, residential barracks and mosque in the new building.
