4 held in Lakki search operation
LAKKI MARWAT: The police arrested four suspects, including a proclaimed offender, during a search and strike operation in Shahbazkhel town of Lakki Marwat district on Wednesday.
An official said that a police party led by SHO Zaman Shah launched the operation on receiving credible information about the presence of wanted men and drug traffickers in the rural localities.
He said that the cops raided a hideout of criminals in the Masha Mansoor area and captured a proclaimed offender Zakirullah there.“The arrested man was wanted by police in as murder case,” he said, adding that an alleged facilitator identified as Hidayatullah was held during a raid in Jhangkhel and a pistol and bullets were recovered from him. He said that the law enforcers also raided a suspected hideout of a dreaded outlaw in Sherikhel village and seized arms and ammunition from the place.
The official said that during the raids, police also arrested a suspect Fazal Waheed who was facing charges of torturing a citizen Junaid in Badnikhel area. “Police also came hard on narcotics sellers and captured a drug trafficker identified as Abdul Samad and recovered a small quantity of ice drug from him,” he added.
