This is in response to the letter ‘Loadshedding surge’ (February 26, 2024) by Ulfat Nazeer Ahmed. The power utility primarily follows an assessment for levels of regular bill payment and electricity theft. Essentially, non-payment of bills and area losses due to theft contribute to the area's load shed. The schedule is available on KE Live App and KE WhatsApp service.
The company maintains an active community engagement programme and continuously works with elected area representatives and other stakeholders to improve supply in those neighborhoods. In that regard, KE looks forward to the customers’ support for these initiatives.
