Women staff being paid for election training
CHARSADDA: The payment to women staff for the election training started in the Charsadda district on Monday.
According to the plan, the female staff, who had trained government employees for the duty of general elections held on February 8, would be paid their stipends in two phases in Charsadda.
The women staff for election training from Charsadda and Tangi tehsils would be paid in the first phase.District Election Commissioner Safia Akbar said that training of female staff for elections duty had been completed, therefore, they had started payment of stipends to employees accordingly.She said that women staff from Charsadda tehsil would be given stipends in the DEC office while training staff from Tangi tehsil would collect their payment from Government Girls High School, Tangi.
The training staff have been asked to bring copies of their national identity cards and post-office tickets and duty orders along with them to receive stipends.Payment of stipends to the election training staff would be started in the second phase, the official added.
