The Karachi traffic police on Thursday issued the traffic diversion plan for the matches of the upcoming Pakistan Super League 2024 (Season 9) in the city from February 28 till March 18.
A spokesman for the traffic police said the PSL 2024 matches in Karachi would be played at the National Stadium and in this regard, the traffic police had prepared a special traffic plan for parking of cricket fans.
According to the plan, those coming from Karsaz should park their vehicle at the National Coaching Centre, China Ground, on Sir Shah Suleman Road via Habib Ibrahim Rehmatullah Road, Stadium Flyover.
Such people would park their vehicle at the National Coaching Centre and China Ground on the right side of the stadium flyover. Those coming from New Town should park their vehicles at the National Coaching Center and China Ground on Sir Shah Sulaiman Road on the left side after passing the Aga Khan Hospital.
The heavy traffic shall be diverted from Sohrab Goth to Nipa, Liaquatabad No 10 towards Hasan Square, University Road to PP Chowrangi. Entry of all types of heavy traffic would be prohibited near the stadium.
The traffic police have requested the general public to cooperate with law enforcement agencies to avoid trouble. The public have been asked not to park their vehicles or motorcycles on any service road or main road, and only park them on the given parking lots.
