Bilawal announces legal action against false poll victory accusers
He made the announcement to this effect in his post on X, formerly Twitter, and Facebook on Thursday
Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has announced that he will be taking legal action against people who, according to him, have furthered the false accusation that his victory in the February 8 general elections from the Larkana constituency is the result of rigging.
He made the announcement to this effect in his post on X, formerly Twitter, and Facebook on Thursday. He posted with his post a link to Forms 45 from all polling stations of constituency NA-194 Larkana from where he won the election.
The PPP chairman stated in his post: “A fraudster from my constituency has claimed that my Larkana victory is manipulated. Please find link attached with all form 45s from every polling station from my constituency. I don’t take such allegations lightly. The PPP has sacrificed the blood of our leadership and workers for democracy. Allegations of rigging or irregularities in elections are serious and should be taken seriously. Those who make false accusations do an injustice to all those who have legitimate concerns. I will be taking legal action against those who have made false accusations against me.”
He also posted an image of Form 47 of NA-194. He further wrote in the post: “From 47 complete result: I got 135,112 votes that’s almost 100K lead. Pathetic than gracefully accepting defeat losers resort to lying.”
