“If the general elections are held on February 8 then according to astrology, the Asif Zardari-led PPP will emerge as a kingmaker. I don’t see Mian Nawaz Sharif coming into power but on the back foot; the PPP will win in Sindh and Balochistan provinces; the destiny of the PTI will remain uncertain, whereas nobody will be able to stop Asif Zardari from getting the throne of Islamabad.”

This was my prediction according to the Vedic astrology in December. At that time, Nawaz Sharif who had just returned to Pakistan was seen as the future prime minister, and no one could have ever imagined that the name of PTI could be completely eliminated from the political arena. However, after my newspaper column was published, a new debate started in the media.

No doubt, there is a close relationship between Raj Singhasan (throne) and Jyotish (astrology) in the thousands of years of ancient history of our region. Historically, every ruler of the Subcontinent had an astrologer as part of their cabinet who kept the ruler informed about the movement of stars. According to Vedic teachings, the prime purpose of a person’s life is to achieve spiritual peace. In this regard, correct decisions lead to peace and prosperity.

Similarly, a person who makes wrong decisions not only worries himself but also causes the destruction of the entire society. It is sometimes not so easy to make the right decision, but astrology can certainly guide one to make the right choice.

In every critical situation in life, whenever I faced a problem in making a decision, I always got guidance from the ancient Vedic science of astrology. I firmly believe that the stars and planets, the most mysterious secrets of our universe, have the ability to influence ground realities in different ways, sometimes bringing good fortune and sometimes making trouble for a human being.

I tried to explain the election astrology that Nawaz Sharif’s return to the country could be beneficial for the PML-N but not for himself, as there was a clear prediction that Asif Zardari’s star would shine on the occasion of the general elections. I emphasized that in the karmic year of 2024, every person would get a good reward for good deeds, and the election results would upset the arrogant people. According to numerology, the PPP would emerge as a kingmaker in the national scenario.

The election results have proved Vedic predictions to be correct and accurate. Zardari, known for the politics of reconciliation, has announced to join hands with the political forces for the sake of the country and nation. His party has assured full support to the PML-N by playing the role of kingmaker.

Under the power-sharing formula, Shehbaz Sharif will be a joint candidate for prime minister and Asif Zardari will sit on the Raj Singhasan of Islamabad as the supreme commander/president of Pakistan in the coming days. Many independent candidates, supported by the PTI, are still in a state of confusion, whereas the destiny of Imran Khan has not yet been cleared.

In my view, it is not the responsibility of just one person to overcome the challenges being faced today, and at this critical time, this is a collective responsibility of all stakeholders to sit together under one roof and devise a concrete plan of action for moving our beloved country towards peace and prosperity. This is now a need of time to serve the people suffering from inflation, unemployment, social injustice, discrimination and other crises.
