Blind murder case resolved
HANGU: The Thall police resolved the blind murder case of a rickshaw driver and arrested the accused along with the weapon used in the crime on Tuesday.
Addressing a press conference, District Police Officer Nisar Ahmad Khan said that an unknown accused had shot dead rickshaw driver Qazi Rahman some 20 days ago.He said that the police had registered a case and launched an investigation along scientific lines with the help of latest gadgets after Sakhi Rahman, the brother of slain driver, reported his missing. He said the police recovered the mobile of Qazi Rahman and arrested one Sher Khan, a resident of Abbasi Banda. The DPO added that the accused confessed to have murdered the rickshaw driver in the name of honour while the police also recovered the rickshaw and weapon used in the crime.
