LAHORE:Caretaker Minister Ibrahim Hasan Murad while highlighting the initiatives in the Local

Government Department has said during the caretaker tenure one billion dollar foreign funding de-track projects were brought in the right direction.

Task management system was launched, auction of cattle market was brought from Rs3 billion fifty crore to Rs5 billion seventy crore. From which a profit of more than two billion rupees was ensured, the minister said.

Ibrahim Hassan said the cost of Lahore waste management was reduced by 10 crores per month, 1198 helpline was launched to guide the citizens, property tax was digitized, two lakh tons of garbage was picked up by drive of Safai Nisaf Iman, 1,500 transfers and postings were done through transparently in Punjab, 10,000 youth volunteers were selected under the VLG programme and orders were placed for solar systems and LED streetlights across the Punjab.
