LAHORE: There is talk of Sanam Javed being nominated as the opposition leader after the chief organiser of PMLN Maryam Nawaz was nominated as Punjab chief minister.
According to sources, Maryam Nawaz has been given the protocol of Punjab chief minister.
The PTI central committee meeting has not been held and most of the candidates who won the elections are either in jail or in hiding. According to sources, the name of former provincial minister Mian Aslam Iqbal has come up for the PTI’s chief ministerial candidate.
According to sources,
if Maryam Nawaz is nominated as the Chief Minister of Punjab, some circles of Tehreek-e-Insaf would want to make Sanam Javed the opposition leader.
Sanam Javed, who is in the jail, would be elected on reserved seat and she can give a tough time to Maryam Nawaz.
It is known about Sanam Javed that she is the daughter of PPP worker Javed Khan. She spent her childhood in Shahid Colony of Rahmanpora, Achhra. The PPP flag is still flying at Javed Khan’s house. Sanam Javed’s sister Falak Javed is absconding while Sanam Javed is the wife of a businessman Atiq Riaz.
