He also cut a cake to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the community centre. Speaking at the ceremony, Shah congratulated the audience on the completion of 75 years of Gul Rana Nusrat Community Centre.

He remarked that the sisters behind the community centre had been working tirelessly in the arena of social service for the past fifty years. Begum Gul Rana laid the foundation of this community centre in 1948. He acknowledged the significant contribution of the centre to social service, stating that these efforts are not new but have been going on for the past 75 years. He praised the dedication of the women involved, emphasising that they had been diligently working for decades, even amidst challenging circumstances.

The interim information minister highlighted the need to strengthen the concept of community centres and suggested the acquisition of modern machinery to upgrade these facilities. He pledged full cooperation for the development of the centre and also acknowledged the respectable status of all the women in society.

Responding to a question, he mentioned that typically, the National Assembly session takes place first, where the prime minister is elected. Then, the session of provincial assemblies follows.

Regarding the recent elections, he commented that Shazia Marri’s election-related allegations were levelled against her opponents. Violent incidents decreased this time compared to the previous elections. He said if Shazia Marri believes there have been violent incidents, she should seek legal action. In 2018, he recalled, several individuals lost their lives in the elections, but this time, no one died. The situation in Sindh, especially in Larkana, had been better compared to the past due to law and order measures.
