CM opens Ring Road Southern Loop-3 Project

LAHORE: Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated the Lahore Ring Road Southern Loop-3 Project Thursday. The project due to be completed in two years has been completed in 130 days. Mohsin Naqvi inspected the whole project being completed in a record time frame.

The CM while addressing the inaugural ceremony of The Lahore Ring Road Southern Loop-3 project stated that the Project is 8km long. Two interchanges and eight bridges have been built and it cost Rs16.50 billion. The CM apprised that the Controlled Access Corridor Bund Road Project would be opened to traffic on Friday (today).

CM gives away plots possession letters

Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited LDA City and in a special ceremony gave away possession letters of 742 plots to the allottees of F block.

The chief minister while addressing the ceremony said that the development in other blocks would be completed as soon as possible. He said that the allottees of LDA City had been suffering for nine years because they had invested money in one place, but they did not know when the allotment would be made.

Mohsin Naqvi further said that he would give credit to the LDA team especially DG Muhammad Ali Randhawa for focusing on giving possession letters to allottees. The chief minister directed the LDA officials to ensure that the possession letters would be given to the allottees at the appointed time. Provincial Ministers, Amir Mir, Azfar Ali Nasir, Bilal Afzal Secretary Housing, Commissioner Lahore DGLDA, Deputy Commissioner Lahore, DGPR, Chief Engineer LDA, Chief Engineer TEPA and officials concerned were also present on the occasion.

Inspects access road to Bibi Pak Daman shrine

On the order of the chief minister, construction of a new access road to the Bibi Pak Daman Shrine via Empress Road is progressing swiftly, following the removal of all obstructions along the route.

The chief minister inspected the road construction and ordered the early completion of a designated parking area along the new access road. Mohsin Naqvi appreciated the efforts of the AC (Shalimar) led team. The 20-foot wide road strip would ensure easy access for visitors. The chief minister also prayed for the country. Provincial Ministers Azfar Ali Nasir, Mansoor Qadir, secretary C&W, commissioner Lahore, secretary Auqaf and others were also present.

Reviews arrangements for PSL

The chief minister reviewed the arrangements for the inaugural ceremony of PSL 9 late at night and directed to ensure excellent arrangements. He inspected different enclosures and monitored cleanliness, floodlight and laser show arrangements. He apprised that the cricket enthusiasts would be provided with every possible facilitation to enter the stadium, adding that we have to make extraordinarily nice arrangements to hold the PSL matches with our collaborative efforts.

Visits OCU office

Organised Crime Unit (OCU) has been playing a pivotal role in eliminating gangs and organised crimes across the province. The chief minister stated this during a visit to OCU headquarters at Green Town where he asked the staff to diligently perform their duties. The CM was briefed about OCU's performance by the IGP and DIG (OCU). Provincial Minister for Information Amir Mir, secretary home, secretary C&W and others were also present.
