ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Q head Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) would also be contacted in the next few days.
Shujaat’s response came in a media talk after his meeting with Pakistan Muslim League-Zia chief Ijaz-ul-Haq on Wednesday when a journalist asked him regarding the inclusion of PTI in the process of national reconciliation.
During the meeting, the overall situation of the country was discussed, while the process of government formation and future political strategy was also reviewed.
Shujaat said that Ijaz-ul-Haq had contacted them to consult his future politics.
The PML-Zia chief said that Shujaat was helpful in difficult times and had invited him to be in a group. “I have decided to respond after consulting my party,” he said.
He said that the country was in trouble, and we all have to work together.
In response to a question regarding sitting with Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Ijazul Haq said that we have ideological differences, there is no personal difference.
In a response to another whether the PTI had contacted him, Ijaz-ul-Haq said they contacted him but no decision has been taken yet “We have also contacted Tehreek-e-Insaf,” he said.
