LAHORE:Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Bilal Siddique Kamyana Wednesday reviewed the performance of Iqbal Town and City divisions police during a meeting.
The CCPO expressed satisfaction over the peaceful holding of elections. The session featured a comprehensive briefing on the operational performance of both divisions, with a strong emphasis on implementing robust security measures for PSL matches. The CCPO affirmed a strong commitment to combat criminal groups engaged in street crimes and robbery incidents through collaborative efforts with neighboring districts' police.
He underscored initiatives targeting drug-related activities and street gangs' involvement in motorcycle snatching, stressing the importance of addressing issues related to kite flying and aerial firing.
He directed the swift resolution of pending investigations and stressed the goal of transforming Lahore into a secure city by eliminating crimes. DIG (Ops) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, DIG (Investigation) Imran Kishwar, SSP (Admin) Atif Nazir, SSP (Ops) Syed Ali Raza, SSP (Investigation) Anoosh Masood Ch and officials of Iqbal Town and City divisions also attended the meeting.
