Daesh terrorist killed in KP’s IBO

RAWALPINDI: Security forces killed a terrorist associated with Daesh in Khyber district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province on Sunday.
Security forces conducted an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in Khyber District, on reported presence of a high profile terrorist, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement said.
During the conduct of operation, after intense fire exchange, High Value Target (HVT) and terrorist ring leader Surat Gul alias Saif Ullah of Daesh was sent to hell. Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the killed terrorist commander, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities including target killing of innocent civilians as well as extortion and was highly wanted by the law enforcement agencies.
Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area. Locals of the area appreciated the operation and expressed their full support to eliminate the menace of terrorism.
Security forces, previously also killed a high profile terrorist namely Abdus Shakoor alias Abu Hamza Kharasani in Balochistan two days back.
He was involved in planning suicide bombings in Pishin and Qila Saifullah districts of the province which claimed precious lives, a day before elections.
