The Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KWSC) completed the ongoing repair of the Hub Canal on Friday.
In a press statement, the KWSC said that on the special instructions of the chief executive officer (CEO) of the KWSC, Engineer Syed Sallahuddin Ahmed, the repair work of the Hub Canal had been completed on an emergency basis, and the normal water supply had been resumed to the city.
He said that the water was being supplied normally from the Hub Canal in District West and District Keamari, while during the repair work, water was being supplied from the alternative line of K-3 in District West and District Keamari.
It should be noted that due to heavy rain and power breakdown at the Hub Pumping Station, the Hub Canal had cracked.
